Relationship Manager Accounting
About the Role
We are looking for a Relationship Manager Accounting to join our growing team in Luxembourg. In this role, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with Luxembourg regulations. You will act as a key point of contact for clients, supporting them with financial reporting, tax compliance, and accounting processes while ensuring a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of clients, understanding their accounting and financial reporting needs.
- Provide guidance on Luxembourg GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with clients, auditors, and tax authorities to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, VAT and tax returns, and other regulatory filings.
- Ensure accuracy in general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and period-end closing.
- Support the implementation of accounting best practices and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with Luxembourg accounting and tax regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of statutory and regulatory reporting for clients.
- Identify and mitigate potential financial risks in client portfolios.
- Work closely with internal accounting, tax, and legal teams to provide seamless client service.
- Provide guidance and support to junior accountants, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or audit, ideally in corporate or fund services.
- Strong understanding of Lux GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with tax compliance (VAT, CIT) and statutory reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (SAP, BOB 50, or similar).
- Fluent in English (French or German is a plus).
- Strong relationship management and client service skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities.
